I know I’ve said this before, but this story is a little weird. Let me know what you think.

Oh, so clever. You’re so good, David! This is a historical data on Orca for all time.

Thanks Amy. π I’ll have to write his whole history sometime.

I heard they made a movie about him…it was pretty bad. XD

hehe. π

This is very different, David, but I think it has some real merit. Not my favorite of yours but enjoyable nonetheless. I enjoyed the trip back in time.
All my best,
MG

Thanks, MG. I always appreciate your honesty. I think this idea would have worked better in a bigger format, perhaps.

I think it’s a great presentation, but I’m a bit puzzled by the historical aspect of it. I suppose it represents his reincarnation but the leap from 1894 to 1966 seemed a step too far for the pace of the rest of the story. I agree though, it’s a terrifically innovative approach to telling a story and to dealing with the prompt. Well done.

Ideally, Sandra, this would be a much longer story with much more detail to it. It is a big jump and I realized it didn’t necessarily make sense, but alas for 100 words.

I’d say this story is exactly the right amount of weird, for me, at least. I especially like the reverse history angle.
August 23rd, 2015 at 8:37 pm
Thanks Joy. I considered doing it the other way, but it seemed to work much better this way, in terms of revealing things.
August 22nd, 2015 at 9:36 pm
I loved it.
August 23rd, 2015 at 8:37 pm
Thanks. π I’m glad.

VERY creative and interesting, David! I really enjoyed this. Took me outside the small world of flash fiction. Bravo!
August 23rd, 2015 at 8:36 pm
Thanks Dawn! I’m glad you liked it. I like it but I realize that with something this different, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

Oh David, Dear David,
If I could write a standing ovation I would. Such a clever presentation. To say more is to detract. Brilliant!
Shalom,
Rochelle

And the places, forgot to mention the places. This one’s a keeper!
August 30th, 2015 at 7:23 pm
Thank you so much. Actually, the pictures took longer to find that the actual writing. It’s fun to try different things sometimes. I like how this one turned out too.
