Visual Fiction – Moonlit City

The moon glowed bright above the sleeping city. Below, thousands of people slept, ensconced in cocoons of warmth to keep out of the cold and snow. Each with their own lives, their own stories. For each one, the old year was past and with the rising of the sun, each could start anew.

Gorgeous! Well done. I loved the “ensconced in cocoons of warmth.” What a view. You should do the Friday Fictioneers! I think you would enjoy it.

      No, I agree. What’s fun is seeing how other people react to things and how they use the same elements to make something different. That’s why I like it when other people write things for my Open Prompts stories. When do they post the prompt picture for the current week? I’ll try to do it either this week or next.
