Reading between the lines – natural struggles

Golden Eagle: How dare you come between the great Golden Eagle and its food? I will cast you out into the cold darkness and make you pay for your insolence, sir Wolf. I am lord of the air, emperor of all I see, and the winged god of the natural world!

Wolf: Hey, be cool, dude. I was just trying to grab a bit to eat and—okay, okay! Be cool! Be cool!

Magpie: Oh crap! I’m getting out of here.

    Up here, flocks of crows gang up on the eagles! Maybe wolfie should find himself a little corvus body guard…although that would probably mean the wolf’s humiliation is complete.

      I’ve heard of crows ganging up on owls, but not eagles. I guess you get enough together. Actually, in some places, wolves and crows (or at least ravens) hunt together. The birds spot the prey, the wolves kill it and they share it.

Eagle belongs to the old era whereas the wolf speaks the language of a modern ‘cool’ dude

  Yeah, I tried to judge by their pose in the picture what sort of language they would be. The eagle looks very majestic and powerful, whereas the wolf looks totally off-guard.
