Well, it’s back to the daily grind again. Here in Korea, today was the first day of school, which makes for one very tired Green-Walled Tower keeper. I got in the habit of getting up at 8:00 or 8:30 during vacation; now I have to get up around 6:00. As well, I’ve taught almost exclusively elementary schools for the last five years and this year I’m teaching mostly middle schools, so that’s a big adjustment.
All that to say, don’t be worried or offended if I’m not around as much in the next few days. I have a lot to do and not much energy. I’ll do what I can though.

I am just so tired these days, it’ll be better once I’m adjusted. Actually my Tuesday/Friday school is in the same town as my old elementary school so I know a lot of the students already.

I’m really envious you teach. Imagine being such an influence on the future…and I bet they’ll all love you

In general, I do love teaching and the students generally love me. This week, though, I’m envious of anyone with a nice desk job. 🙂

teaching can be really exhausting job, especially if you have to handle four schools together!

I won’t desert you. This year seems to be harder, although it’s only been two days. I’m just at school a lot longer and the commutes tend to be longer. I am getting a lot of reading done though. 🙂

Well, I don’t envy you the “upgrade” from eager little kids to temperamental adolescents! Have fun! 🙂
