Wonderful pics, David. Enjoy autumn in Iowa. My sister and brother-in-law have properties there in Cedar Falls, and recently came back to their home in Liberty, Mo. after being up in Ia. over the spring and summer months. We are having great weather here in Colorado with crisp autumn leaves covering walks and grounds. It is my favorite season of all. I recently posted some favorite pics too of an autumn vacation spent in the New England states and some others of our own area here.

Thanks, Joyce. Actually, I’m only an hour from Cedar Falls and one of my co-workers lives there actually. I’m sure Colorado is beautiful this time of year as well.

So pretty, David. I haven’t seen many colors out here yet, but the leaves are falling and it’s starting to cool down and feel like fall. Nice photos!

Thanks, Amy. It is nice now, although all too quickly the leaves fall and then I have to rake them up. ๐

So beautiful, thank you for sharing! I miss my Michigan and New York falls, out here in southern CA — a few trees turn one by one all through the winter, but you never get the full-on orange and yellow and red. But then, you also never have to do a lot of raking!

There is always a tradeoff for the beautiful colors, in having to rake them. Of course, I just mowed the lawn and mulched a lot of the fallen leaves, so that’s one way. ๐

Thanks. It snowed here on Friday, with about 20 centimeters of snow, so everything is white for a while until it melts.
